MY AZERBAIJAN” INTERNATIONAL VIII CHILDREN AND YOUTH ART FESTIVAL

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, AzTV, the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts, with the support of the Khatai District Executive Power, the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, IWS Azerbaijan, the Khatai Children's Art Gallery, and the Khatai Art Center are organizing the “MY AZERBAIJAN” International VIII Children and Youth Art Festival dedicated to May 28 - Republic Day.A competition is also being announced as part of the festival. 

Purpose: The festival aims to help both Azerbaijani citizens and foreigners discover and develop a deeper love for Azerbaijan. 

Motto: Azerbaijan, I Love You!

Theme: Azerbaijan Through My Eyes!

Approach: Participants are encouraged to capture the spirit of Azerbaijan in their artwork without adding an explanatory text. 

Recommended Topics: 

- Illustrative and applied art examples 

- Historical and tourist destinations 

- Professionals and their activity scenes 

- Patriotism, cuisine, traditions, and attire 

- Lifestyle, music, and literature 

Age Limit: 8–21 years old 

Deadline for Submission: April 10, 2025 

Size: Up to 30x40 cm 

Technique: Watercolor, mixed media

Additional Information:

- Each participant can submit a maximum of three works. 

- Works must be submitted individually, with all information provided in full. 

- Entries will be evaluated based on the artist's feelings, thoughts, approach, composition, and use of color. 

- Participants will be categorized into the following age groups: 8-12, 13-16, and 17-21. 

- Only new and unexhibited works will be considered. 

- The list of selected works and authors who pass the first round will be published on May 2, 2025. 

An online catalog of selected works will be prepared. 

Separate exhibitions will be organized for each age category. 

Participants whose works are displayed will receive certificates. 

The top 10 works in each age category will qualify their authors for the festival. 

Festival participants will receive awards based on their age group: 

- I, II, and III places

- Encouragement prizes 

- Diplomas 

- Gifts 

For Foreign Participants: 

- Selected works submitted by foreign participants will be printed and framed for exhibition by the organizers. 

- Exhibited participants will be awarded certificates. 

- Foreigners are welcome to attend the exhibitions and the festival in person at their own expense.
